Our Dental Missions

Our dental team is committed to dentistry for all. We want to ensure that people worldwide receive access to dental education and treatment.

That’s why we’ve taken multiple dental missions to other countries. During our dental missions, we provide free dental care to those in impoverished areas of the world. Bringing our experience and compassion, we help them gain access to key dental care and improve their dental health.

Lead dentist, Dr. Brent MacDonald went on three dental missions including Peru in 2008 and Guatemala in 2016 and 2020. Dental hygienist, Krista, joined Dr. MacDonald on his 2016 and 2020 dental missions to Guatemala. Together, they were able to deliver critical dental services and help hundreds of patients.

Here is some guidance with frequently asked questions, if you don’t find what you are looking for please give us a call or use our contact form.

When it comes to picking a dentist in NE Calgary, you have many options. Choosing the right dental clinic for your family can be a challenge. Here’s what to look for in your dentist:

  • Dental experience with many services and patients.
  • Necessary certification to practice dentistry.
  • Family dental services.
  • A comfortable environment and caring team.
  • A focus on your oral health.

If you’ve been searching for a “dental clinic near me” in NE Calgary, now is the time to book your appointment with Dr. Brent MacDonald.

You shouldn’t wait until you have tooth pain or swollen gums to visit the dentist. Visit the dentist at least once every six months for preventative dental care in NE Calgary. Preventative dental care includes teeth cleanings, dental exams, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and more. They will help keep your teeth as clean as possible, while also giving the dentist the chance to look for any oral health concerns. Preventative dentistry helps you prevent more extensive oral health issues.

Swollen, inflamed, or bleeding gums are all signs of gum disease. As a progressive oral health issue, gum disease worsens if left untreated. Eventually, it can lead to tooth loss. Early gum disease treatment can stop its progression and protect your teeth. Visit our team at Dr. Brent MacDonald for gum disease treatment (not as a specialist).

Tooth pain is a warning sign of an oral health concern. Even if the pain suddenly goes away, it does not mean that your tooth is problem-free. If you are struggling with tooth pain, visit our dental clinic in NE Calgary as soon as possible. Our general dental team will assess your oral health and determine any necessary dental treatments.
